KBC English Service: Where is Tattu? Angela Ndambuki explains the ups and downs of regional music industry

The early late 90s and 2000s was an exciting time for Kenyan music ,not just for artist but for the fans too as the entertainment industry thrived thanks to an explosion of home-grown talent.

It was in these heady times that we got to see a trio of beautiful and talented girls whose music, dance moves and bright smiles could literally light up the entire city.

Angela Ndambuki was part of that all-girl singing group known as Tattu.

Angela who has since dropped the microphone and left the stage for the corner office and is currently the regional director International Federation of the Phonographic Industry for Sub-Saharan Africa, IFPI is speaks with Geoffrey Mungai on spotlight.
